Buyers contact us for their requirements. We send them sample cuttings
of our finished leathers for their inspection. On approval of the leathers,
they send us their paper patterns, sketches and measurement charts. We
make our counter-samples and courier it to them ( at cost + Courier charges
) for their inspection and comments. On approval, the orders are placed
for execution.
A
Pro Forma Invoice is faxed to the buyer and the Irrevocable 100% Letter
of Credit AT SIGHT, is opened in our favour. On receipt of the L/C the
work, on the orders, will commence. Normally, we require a lead time of
30 - 40 days, after the receipt of the L/C, to deliver the first consignment.
Within this period, the finished garment leathers will be manufactured,
the garments will be tailored, inspected and then shipped. If required,
the buyers send their inspectors to check the garments before they are
despatched.
As
part of our hospitality, we make accommodation reservations for our buyers,
on their request and on their account. On their arrival to Chennai, we
meet them at the airport and convey them to their hotel. We pick them
up again and bring them to our office and factory where business is discussed.
When the buyer completes his visit here in Chennai, we take him to the
airport and see him off. The buyer is our guest from the moment he arrives
till the time he departs. New buyers who are making their first trip to
Chennai, do not have to be anxious about moving around our city. We shall
be there for them.
